1. Presentation of the site
Under article 6 of Law No. 2004-575 of 21 June 2004 on confidence in the digital economy, users of the www.fcrin.org website have the right to know the identity of the various participants involved in creating and monitoring the site:

2. Usage terms and conditions for the site and proposed services
Use of the www.fcrin.org website is subject to full acceptance of the terms and conditions of use listed below. These terms and conditions of use may be modified at any time. Users of the www.fcrin.org website are therefore advised to consult them regularly.
Under normal circumstances this site is accessible to users at any time. However, F-CRIN may decide to withdraw access for technical maintenance reasons, in which case it will make every effort to give prior notice to users of the dates and times of interruptions in the service.
The www.fcrin.org website is regularly updated by Vincent Diebolt. Similarly, the legal information may be modified at any time: It is the user’s responsibility to consult it frequently in order to be fully aware of its content.
3. Description of the services provided
The purpose of the www.fcrin.org website is to provide information relating to all of F-CRIN’s activities.
F-CRIN endeavours to supply the www.fcrin.org website with as much detail as possible. However, it cannot be held responsible for omissions, inaccuracies and deficiencies in updated content, irrespective of whether it is at fault, or as a result of third party partners that provide this information.
All information listed on the www.fcrin.org website is given for information only, and is subject to change. Moreover, the information given on the www.fcrin.org website is not exhaustive. Content is subject to modifications that have been made since the time of posting.
4. Contractual limitations on technical data
The site uses Drupal technology. The site cannot be held liable for damage to property related to its use. In addition, the site user agrees to access the site using recent, virus-free equipment and an up to date browser application.
5. Intellectual property and counterfeiting
F-CRIN owns the intellectual property rights or has rights to use all the items available on the site.
The images are the property of INSERM.
Any reproduction, modification, publication, adaptation of all or part of the site, regardless of the means or process, is prohibited without prior written permission of F-CRIN.
Any unauthorised use of the site or any of its materials shall be deemed to constitute an infringement and shall be prosecuted in accordance with articles L.335-2 and following of the Intellectual Property Code.
6. Limitations of liability
F-CRIN cannot be held liable for any direct and indirect damage to the user’s equipment when accessing the www.fcrin.org website, or resulting from the use of equipment not meeting the specifications stipulated in section 4, or the appearance of a bug or incompatibility.
F-CRIN will also not be held liable for indirect damages (such as a loss of market or loss of opportunity) arising from use of the www.fcrin.org website.
Interactive spaces (for example the submission of questions in the contact space) are available to users. F-CRIN reserves the right to remove, without prior notice, any content placed in this space that violates applicable law in France, in particular the provisions concerning data protection. Where appropriate, F-CRIN reserves the option to challenge the civil liability and / or criminal liability of the user, especially in cases of posts that are racist, offensive, defamatory or pornographic, irrespective of the medium used (text, photograph, etc.).
7. Personal data management
In France, personal data is protected by law No. 78-87 of 6th January 1978, Law No. 2004-801 of 6th August 2004, article L. 226-13 of the Penal Code and the European Directive of 24th October 1995.
During use of the www.fcrin.org website the following may be obtained: the URL links through which the user accessed the www.fcrin.org website, the user’s internet provider, or the user's Internet Protocol (IP) address.
F-CRIN does not under any circumstances collect personal data relating to the user except that relating to the need for certain services provided by the www.fcrin.org website. The user provides this information in the full knowledge of its purpose, in particular when this data is entered by the user himself/herself. Users of the www.fcrin.org website have the choice of whether or not to provide this data.
In accordance with the provisions of articles 38 and following and law 78-17 of 6th January 1978 relating to computers, files and freedoms, every user has a right to access, rectify and oppose the use of personal data concerning him or her by making a signed, written request, accompanied by a copy of proof of identity containing the holder’s signature, and specifying the address to which the reply should be sent.
No personal information belonging to the www.fcrin.org site user is published, exchanged, transferred, assigned or sold to any third party, in any form whatsoever, without the user’s knowledge. In the event of that F-CRIN is taken over by another organisation, users agree to allow the transmission of such information to the potential purchaser, who would in turn be under the same obligation regarding storage and modification of data concerning www.fcrin.org site users.
Its databases are protected by the provisions of the law of 1st July 1998 transposing Directive 96 / 9 of 11th March 1996 on the legal protection of databases.
8. Hypertext links and cookies
The www.fcrin.org website contains a number of hypertext links to other sites, set up with the permission of F-CRIN. However, F-CRIN is not able to check the contents of the sites visited, and accordingly assumes no liability whatsoever in their regard.
Navigation of the www.fcrin.org website may give rise to the installation of a cookie or cookies on the user’s computer. A cookie is a small file, which does not allow the user to be identified, but which records data concerning a computer’s navigation on a site. Data thus obtained is intended to facilitate future navigation on the site, and is also used to measure site visit statistics.
Refusal to install a cookie may make access to certain services impossible. However, the user may configure his or her computer in the following way, so as to refuse the installation of cookies:

9. Governing law and jurisdiction
Any dispute over the use of the www.fcrin.org website is subject to French law. The competent courts of Paris shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
