International Clinical Trials Day (ICTD) 2025, organized by our partner ECRIN in collaboration with SCReN, will be held in Madrid on Tuesday, May 20, 2025. The theme: "Rethinking clinical trials with an inclusive approach". Registration is now open!

Inclusivity in clinical research: more than a principle, a necessity
This edition of ICTD will focus on inclusivity in clinical trials and the concrete actions that can be taken to ensure that all relevant populations are considered in the design of clinical studies. How can we move from discussion to action? What obstacles need to be overcome, and what solutions have already been implemented? These are just some of the questions that will be addressed throughout the day.

A program rich in perspectives and exchanges
ICTD 2025 will bring together a wide variety of clinical research stakeholders to discuss diversity, equity and inclusion. The day will begin with an exploration of the notions of inclusivity and under-represented populations, followed by presentations from patients, ethics experts, regulatory agency representatives and industry. Three case studies will illustrate the concrete application of these principles in academic and industrial trials.
Why participate?
Inclusivity is a growing priority in clinical research in Europe, and ICTD 2025 offers a unique platform to share ideas, debate current issues and identify concrete solutions. This event is an opportunity for researchers, patients, regulatory institutions and industry to collaborate to make clinical trials more accessible and representative of the diversity of populations.
F-CRIN fully supports this initiative and invites all clinical research stakeholders to join this must-attend event!
