F-CRIN Network incubator

F-CRIN selects, certifies and supports national research and clinical investigation networks in France.

F-CRIN, an organization focused on research networks targeting specific pathologies

The F-CRIN project aims to strengthen France's performance and competitiveness in the field of French clinical research, whether academic or industrial, particularly at European and international level. The aim is to identify and strengthen certain high-potential areas of excellence in France in the field of translational research, for clinical trials in the earliest phases known as "proof of concept", particularly in conjunction with industry, and at the same time to increase the number of academic protocols with French scientific coordination of international dimension.

With the exception of national coordination, all components have been integrated into the Infrastructure with the F-CRIN label, following calls for applications and selection processes conducted by its internal Scientific Council and Governance Board. The aim is to help structure medical themes where French clinical research is particularly dynamic.

The benefits of F-CRIN certification

  1. F-CRIN is now recognized as the benchmark platform for networks in France. F-CRIN's accreditation gives the winning networks visibility and recognition for their quality and excellence.
  2. The model deployed by F-CRIN ensures that F-CRIN accredited networks benefit from the support of a high-performance organization, with, in particular, national coordination, centralized shared services and the integration of an interactive community of cross-disciplinary and complementary expertise.

Thus, thanks to the F-CRIN label, the new networks will benefit from the striking force of the structure, including

  • Funding for human resources and operating costs
  • Provision of operational tools (steering tools, shared databases, active patient files, validated procedures...)
  • Targeted training in clinical research on themes with high stakes for biomedical research
  • Information tools and communication media (brochures, website, events, press relations)
  • Administrative, financial and legal support
  • European visibility thanks to direct access to the European ECRIN infrastructure, for the extension to Europe of French-coordinated clinical projects, and the participation of French teams in multinational studies
  • And above all, the collective intelligence and dynamism of the F-CRIN network
