Advanced Therapy Medicinal Products (ATMPs), which include cell, gene, and tissue therapies, are opening up new possibilities for the treatment of many diseases. However, their clinical development presents specific challenges related to the complexity of these products, their manufacturing, their administration, and the organization of care pathways.
How should clinical trials be structured to suit these therapies? What expertise should be drawn upon to support their development and implementation? How can we harmonize practices across centers, facilitate patient care, and meet the regulatory and organizational requirements specific to MTI?
Through the insights of experts from the CLEIO clinical research expertise network, certified by F-CRIN, this new F-CRIN Clinical Research Forum aims to provide a better understanding of the scientific, clinical, and organizational challenges of clinical trials involving MTI, as well as the strategies for strengthening their development in France and Europe:
- Prof. Vincent Laugel
- Prof. Grégory Pugnet
- Prof. Michaela Semeraro
- Dr. Sylvain Auvity
This event will also provide an opportunity to discover how pooling expertise and connecting centers can help facilitate clinical trials, accelerate patient enrollment, and improve access to therapeutic innovations.
